Matt Smith Welcomes Daughter to the Real World

Real World New Orleans reality star Matt Smith was forced to show his new daughter the real world on the side of a freeway.

Matt Smith was taking his wife to the hospital with labor pains when things moved a little too quickly for the couple. Matt Smith called 911 and delivered the baby with the phone on his ear. The couple waited for paramedics to arrive. Mom and baby are healthy and well.

When an attending nurse in the emergency room suggested the couple name the baby after the freeway, they graciously declined. According to Matt Smith, his daughter may have a road named after her but it will not be the other way around. This is the second child for the reality star who was introduced to the world on MTV’s reality show Real World. After the show, Matt Smith returned to college and received a degree in Industrial Design. Today he develops websites, graphics, logos and more while spending time with his wife and two daughters.
