Melissa Joan Hart, who is in her second trimester of pregnancy with her third child, took some time out to attend the Hollywood premiere of the highly anticipated, book-turned-movie, What to Expect When You’re Expecting. While she appeared fresh faced and smiling on the red carpet, the actress told interviewers the real deal with her third pregnancy.

“[I’m] really exhausted. I don’t know if it’s [from taking care of] the two older ones, I don’t know if it’s because I’m older…but I feel so tired all the time,” the 36 year old actress told PEOPLE on May 14th. “I’ve been in bed at 8:30 every night. I tell my kids, ‘Go put yourselves in bed. I gotta go to sleep.’”

Melissa, best known for her childhood/teen roles on Clarissa Explains it All and Sabrina the Teenage Witch, also spoke about the preparation she did while getting ready for her third pregnancy: “I was in really good shape before I got pregnant with this one,” she said. “I tried to set myself up. For about a year I made sure I took the right vitamins and didn’t take artificial sweeteners. I did take some precautions.”

Hart and husband, Mark Wilkerson, are no newbies to the challenge, as they already have two sons, Mason Walter, 6, and Braydon Hart, 4. Hart did, however, explain that they had two very different experiences with their first two, and are hoping to even things out a bit with the third. After giving tons of attention to their first son Mason, it became hard to keep it up with their second, Braydon (known as Brady). Melissa explained, “Things like, ‘What’s this letter? What’s this color? What does the duck say?’ With Brady we kind of blurred over that because we had Mason, too…I hope with this one that we’ll be able to go back to really focusing on the little things.”

We’re sure you’ll do great Melissa, and can’t wait to hear more. Congratulations Melissa, Mark, Mason, and Braydon!
