Fertility charting is one of several ways to determine your fertile days and pinpoint if and when ovulation has happened. Other words used for fertility charting are BBT or basal body temperature charting. Ferility charting such as charting your cervical mucus could let you know when you will be fertile, but temperature charting in and by itself does not predict when you will be fertile or when ovulation will happen. Fertility charting can let you know for each cycle whether and when you ovulated, though ovulation can usually be determined only after you did ovulate, not before.
