Most medications are safe while trying to conceive and in pregnancy. However, there are some medications which are known to harm the pregnancy and every women should be aware what is safe to take and what not. Stopping medications that were prescribed and which you need, may be more harmful than continuing them. Before you stop any medication in  pregnancy, you should discuss with your doctor whether this is the right thing to do.
