Q: When should I have sex based on the rise in my basal body temperature? 

A: Your typical rise in temperature usually comes one to two days after ovulation. Making love after ovulation is very unlikely to get you pregnant. If you do not want to get pregnant, then you make love only after the typical rise in temperature, but if you want to get pregnant, then you should make love well before ovulation, several days before the temperature goes up.
