You cannot diagnose an early pregnancy from the cervical position. Before you miss your period and before you have a positive pregnancy test, there are really no reliable ways to diagnose a pregnancy.

Typical cervical changes happen many weeks and months into the pregnancy. The cervix may become softer as pregnancy progresses.

But early on in pregnancy, there are no reliable enough cervical changes which may indicate an early pregnancy.
