Pregnancy Symptoms?

Hello Dr. Amos,

I am now 17 dpo and I have had sore heavy breasts for about a week now, and frequent urination, I tood a HPT on 14 dpo and it was neg. It was an Accu-clear HPT could it be that my levels are to low? I also take Methadone for a back problem, I take 10-20 mg a day, and I have read that it can interfer with a result, is this true? Over all what is your opinion?

Also, One other thought comes to mind, If I purchase the Clear Blue Ovulation Moniter, even though I have PCOS, will it work with my condition? Thanks in advance, I really like this site, it is so helpful.

I did chart, and I am fairly positive that I Ovulated between CD 14 to CD 18, Feb 4-7. I have PCOS but am on 1800 mg of Metformin, I had m/c in December, could that cause an irregular test result or Period, I had a normal cycle in Jan. and I got a positive fern test on CD 14 and a + OPK on CD 17, my CM was also EW. If you have any additional thoughts, I appreciate them.

Methadone does usually not give you a false negative pregnancy test. You could be pregnant however if you are pregnant then not all urine pregnancy tests will be positive on CD 14, and retesting several days later may provide you with a better answer. Test now again. Morning urine is usually the most reliable one. Also, how sure are you that you ovulated or not and that you are 17 dpo? Did you chart? And if in doubt a blood test will test you for sure.
