and had our 1st prenatal appt today. HR was 166, hurray! Doc said I can stop taking my metformin in about 2 weeks, and stop the prometrium in 4 weeks. He actually left it up to me on if I want to take met the entire pregnancy to help avoid gestational diabetes, but it's side effects are so horrid I'm opting to stop soon.

What are the horrid effects of metformin? I haven't seem a doc yet cause my first appt is on June 13. On previous pregnancy I was on met and then doc took me off and two weeks later I miscarried. I honestly wonder if there was a link and if my sugar shot up to high and booted my bean. Right now I am on pins and needles about these little bleeds I get after BD and its now been four hours and the doc hasn't called me back, I am back and forth checking my tt. I am not cramping though, just gassy. My boobs does these weird things. They get all bloated like two bowling balls and then get droopy like two water balloons.

I am sorry it has been so rough for you. Are you feeling better now? If it is spring you want, then you need to move to Phoenix. It was over 80 today. It makes it really stay in your classroom when it is so inviting outside. Keep me posted about how you are doing. Ape
Haven;t updated in awhile. So far this month I;ve been int he ER twice, in the Cancer Center for IV rehydration as an outpatient, and admitted to the hospital overnight for IV fluids and observation and nausea meds. They think I have a nasty stomach bug, and today is the first day I'm really feelign better. I head back to work today---they are NOT being nice about my time off work even though I am protected my FMLA and the WA State pregnancy disability act. :-/ I have my 12 week checkup tomorrow (a few days early) and they'll do an u/s. I just pray baby is ok.
I can officially no longer lseep on my stomach, my uterus has grown just enough to make it uncomfortable. I am so ready for spring too.

9 weeks today *gasp* Seems like time is flying by. One more week and I'm a quarter of the way done. :-O
I have some cramps from hell today, but I assume it's from my bladder infection. Am waiting for DH to get home from work so I can go get my antibiotics and major amounts of cranberry juice.

Sounds like you are doing just fine! It doesn't seem like you are that far along yet.
oh and my BP was great, 112/74 I think it was...
