Don't want to get my hopes up!!!

Hi

Just wondered if anyone in the same situation as me. AF is a couple of days late! Not sure if I have real symptoms of pregnancy or if I am just imagining them.

Do not want to test as to worried about getting BFN! Have had an occasional sharp twinge in my lower right abdomen since CD21 and bloating. Breasts seem tender and slightly enlarged but only since this morning. Please let me know your experiences.

Hoping for BFP!

hey ladies havent been on in a while missed all of you. Glad to hear that mr jonah is here and healthy HD. I am trying to get my mind wrapped around the fact that naomi is already 10 months old. She has 6 teeth and refuses to crawl and is trying to walk. I cant believe in 2 months she will be a year old. This has all flown by so fast. My DH and I think we are gonna start trying to give her a brother or sister when shes two not 100% sure yet. Hope all is well. Anyone heard from Chrystal lately?

Just wanted to let ya'll know I had Mr. Jonah Patrick on June 5th weighing in at a healthy 8 lbs 14 oz and 21.5 in long. he is doing great and growing super fast. my other two boys just love and adore him to the point of wanting to play and talk to him when he wants to sleep, but it works out good cause he sleeps through the night already!!! I tried to nurse him but my milk ducts on both sides were clogged so my milk dried up with in a couple of weeks at least he got the important part of it. he hardly cries unless he's being over stimulated with different things. he's starting to coo and aww and teething his poor little gums are swollen so any day now. Hope everyone is doing good.

Was really hoping to hear from Crystal to see if she was able to start her IVF meds. HD.....I am not sure if you have already posted this but was wondering what you decided to name your little one.

hiya ladies~ well i'll be 25 wks tomorrow, time is flying by quick. boys are getting very anxious to meet their baby brother and i am too. i can only imagine what he'll look like since we have one that looks like me and the other looks like my DH.  i think for my bday my DH is gonna get me a cert for the 3d 4d ultrasound, so hopefully this little guy will have enough fat on him to look like a baby and not an alien floating in my stomach :) concidering i started off my pregnancy at 197 and dipped down to 176 and just now back up to 181, i eat non-stop and i have a feeling that its gonna catch up to me really quick. doc's dont seem to be worried though so i guess thats good. i was overweight to begin with and they said that if i only gained 15 with this one it would be okay. so we'll see. Crystal hope you get the go ahead soon i have my fingers crossed for ya. Chloesmomma glad that everything is going good and surgery went well.

Just stopping by to check in on you ladies. Caleb is doing great getting bigger by the minute. Lila had her surgery and is doing very well. She had her left kidney removed and the right kidney repaired with an implant. Other than that there has been nothing else.

HD: You sound like your doing fantastically!!! Boys sound like their getting prepared as well :) Do you think you'll have issues with either after the baby comes, I think your amazing!! I love my kids but to be honest they were enough when they were younger, there's 18 months between them and it was hectic for sure:)   Chloes: Hope all is well with you and your family :)   Me: Not much to report just waiting to hear back from the IVF Clinic to see if we can go ahead in March or if we will have to wait till April :)

Good Morning Ladies~ Crystal im so sorry for your loss, at least he is out of any pain and is at peace. My thoughts are with you. HEM~i would wait a couple of days, and if nothing go to your doc and talk to them maybe they will do a blood test. i had my sugar test and surprizingly the fruit punch tasted just like koolaide so it wasn't so bad. still no weight gain, but the doc put the heart doppler on my belly and he got kicked, so my baby does not like anything irritating him already. he is constantly moving and turning and kicking or head butting me. i can be watching tv and pull my shirt up and my belly looks so weird and alien like. my 2 year old is always asking is my belly is wiggling and he'll put his hands on my belly and shake it till the baby moves. he's so cute he hugs and kisses my belly and pats my belly and says that's my baby brother to his older brother, so they are fighting over him already. im gonna have my hands full when this one is finally here. but i can't wait!!!

Hi Girls!!!      Hiya, just wanted to let you know my dad passed on Feb 10th but was expected and I am so relieved he's not suffering anymore. I think April will be a definate go ahead for IVF unless something else major happens :) Hope Caleb is doing great and the girls are enjoying him and HD, I hope your feeling better but to be honest having a healthy baby and not gaining all the pregnancy weight is fantastic!!! Welcome to the newcomer..sorry I forgot your name...I would give it a few days and then test again, honestly if your pregnant the baby will still be there in a few days...we always panick to find out if we're pregnant but a day or two won't change the fact if pregnant or not :) That's how I look at it now anyway and it makes the TWW much easier :) Good Luck!!

I got my period jan. 23 for 7 days, my cycle is 31 days and according to a calculation (which I know is not accurate), my ovulation date was Feb. 7. We only conceived Feb. 6. On Feb. 14 I started to feel some minor cramping pain and it keeps progressing until today, Feb. 17 with a lot of pressure, bloating, cramps, a bit of lower back pain, a little bit of nausea and slightly swollen tender breast. This morning I took a home pregnancy test (First Response, the 6days early) and it came out negative. I'm supposed to be getting my period around the 21st. I'm just confused because I am having all these uncomfortable feeling that somewhat feel like if I was on my first day of my period. I have read some comments of some women and most of them, if they are pregnant they would of got a positive test by now, especially having all these symptoms. Should I take a home pregnant test in two days or should I just wait? But all this is driving me crazy due to being uncomfortable and not knowing my exact dates of everything. Maybe I went through implementation later than the 14th?? I would appreciate anybody's comments and their own experiences. Thank you!

Crystal~ Im so sorry that you are having to go thru this, but im glad u and ur family are at peace with his decision. when my grandfather past last year he didnt have a living will or anything and wasn't right in his mind, so it was left up to my grandmother to make all the decisions, and it was so hard watching her go thru that. I hope that you are doing okay and I'll say a prayer for ya'll

Hi Ladies,   Just a quick hello, I've had a stressful few days because my Dad is in ICU and we're expecting him to pass sometime today or tonight. Its not sudden he's been very sick for a long time he's in heart, lung and kidney failure and my brother was trying to get there before he passed because he lives in Newfoundland and my dad is in Nova Scotia. He's had Chrones Disease for years and he was a small statistic of people that it ends up being a terminal illness. He's only 56 but has not had much in the way of quality of life for about 10 years so for us and him this is not a sad time but a relief that he'll be free of illness.   He's requested no resusitation, so he's ready to go and we've had our talks about it over the past years, months and weeks and I know he's at point that he's so sick and he's finished sooo we're looking at it as a relief he won't suffer anymore and I think its the kindest way for him and gives him the most dignity because he is a proud a man.   Hope you ladies are doing well and your Caleb is doing fantastic!!

Good Morning Ladies~ Hubby is doing good, Im doing good next baby appt is Feb 21 and that'll be my sugar test. yuck luckily this time i had my choice of grape, orange or fruit punch i chose fruit punch cause i know the other 2 are nasty.  im still trying to put some weight on, it just doesn't want to stick, i eat basically anything i see whether its healthy or pure sugar not so much salty stuff or anything with onions in it. idont know when i wen to my appt on the 27th i had managed to loose yet another pound, but they did an ultrasound and baby is looking good, very active so they said that im okay for now.   Hope everyone is doing good and Crystal Im with Chloes hopefully it wont come for you got my fingers crossed for ya.

No more babies for me so doing everything I can with him while he is little. Hopefully there will be no AF for you. Keeping you in our prayers here in Texas!

Hi girls :)   HD: OMG that poor man, I'm glad he's feeling better but he's got to get so frustrated with being sick!! Its hard to believe your far enough along to feel the baby kick seems like it was just yesterday you found out you were pregnant :) Glad your doing ok though, that's a blessing :)   Chloes: Caleb crying Mommmaaaa is too cute, little boys are so sweet they seem to be more dependant on mama then little girls..lol..well in this house anyway!! Is he sleeping well? I forgot to ask last time as well, are you able to breastfeed? Wasn't sure if it messes with your sugars or not :)   Me: I'm fine just waiting on AF to appear any day now :(

Hello ladies! HD~~~~~~~~~~OMG! How scary for you and your family. I have been there before with the seizures and coma and its just........really tough. I am so glad that he woke up and everything is okay. I will be praying for him and you! Aw the joys of feeling the baby move. Its so wonderful isnt it. Crystal~~~~~~~~~~Wow, you have a lot going on right now. I wouldnt be able to wait, I am just not that person. :) But you definately want to pick the most stressless time for IVF. So probably waiting until April might be best. Isnt it crazy how fast our children grow up. To bad there is no way to slow it down and still be legal...HAHA. Me~~~~~~~~~My little Caleb is so different from my girls, its truly amazing. The sweetest thing is, is when he cries he says MOMMMMMMMAAAAA. My husband was in tears last night, because it was the first time he had heard him cry like that. So sweet, he only does it when he is tired. But I am enjoying every momment I have with him while he is little. I have tons of pictures on Facebook. I will be back to check on you ladies and see whats going on.

Hi girls,

Chloes: What a beautiful little boy you've got there :) Are you finding him different then when your girls were little? You just must be happy that he's here happy and healthy. do you think you'll have anymore? I know kinda soon to be asking considering you've got a newborn...lol HD: Yay for Team Blue but wow you are going to have your hands full...lol 3 little boys running around :) Boys are great though, I hope you diabetes test comes out fine but you've had issues with your sugars before haven't you? I also wanted to ask and then of course forgot..hoe is DH doing? I hope he's adjusting to the dyalisis (spelling) well and is feeling better!!Me: Well nothing to report really AF is due this week sometime so waiting on that :( I've been going back and forth on whether to start IVF in March or April and still not sure so we'll see. My mother is coming for a visit in March which makes me think April might be the better choice..lol. My kids go back to school for their new school Year this week and my baby is starting Secondary College so off to buy new uniforms and get him ready for that. He'll be going into Year 7, I just can't believe how time has flown by. Brooke got honours last year and was in the top 3 of her class so she got an award an $50 and she'll be going into Year 9.

Hey there ladies! Well its team BLUE again i have no idea what i'm gonna do with 3 boys!!! Im still not gaining any weight as of yet, one doc told me i better start gaining or else and the other doc didn't seem to worry that much, so im not sure i eat just about anything i see in front of me now with no nausea or heartburn. i just dont want anything sweet or surgary. but the baby is doing well. on the 17th he weighed in at 8oz already which put him in the 87% catagory, so he must be absorbing everything that i eat or drink. they want me to go ahead and do my glucose test a week or so early just to make sure that i dont have the beginnings of gestational diabetes seeing as to how i can't drink enough in a day to satisify my thirst and im no longer taking my metformin since there is no need for it right now during the pregnancy. Crystal~ i was wondering about you, i wasn't sure what part you lived in or if the floods had effected you, im glad that everyone is good. who knows maybe a good break is what you and your Hubby need before starting IVF, maybe it'll take the first go round. ihave you in my prayers that it'll be a success. Chloes~ So glad that you and baby are doing good i can't wait to see what my little guy looks like. we have 2 boys now, one looks like me and the other his daddy so its gonna be good surprize. now we just have to figure out a name for him. hope you ladies are doing good and have a great rest of the week!!!

Hiya Ladies,   Chloes: So sorry to hear you had a not so pleasant delivery...but all's well now and that's the main thing!! Hope he's doing well, how did the girls take to him? Like little mothers I assume...lol..Hope you had a great Christmas and New Year with your family :) Tiffie: Hey girl, Naomi must be getting huge by now :) It doesn't take long at all and she'll be running around and you'll be pulling your hair out trying to keep up..lol..but that is the joy in having them for sure :) hope she had a great 1st Christmas and Santa found her well!! HD: You must be well into your second trimester by now, hope your feeling better now and getting to enjoy the pregnancy a bit:) Have you found out if its Team Pink or Team Blue??   ME: Well we were set to have IVF in January and then the floods hit :( first Queensland which didn't impact us and then started to affect Victoria so we decided it best to not go through with it this cycle only because we didn't want to start Stimming meds and then have it cancelled due to flooding, bad news is it might not be until March or April until we can do a cycle as Mark (hubby) has so much on at work with the new school year etc. that he can't get alot of days off. So I think rather then stress about how the cycle will go we'll wait for April when the school will be closed for term break for 2 weeks:) It's been nice having a little break and I've not been temping or anything so its good:) I've had a few ultrasounds and all is normal, lining everything so it is unexplained..its a pain in the butt for sure but we can do something about it :) Hope everyone had a great holidays and is doing great :)

Well ladies hope that you all had a good Christmas and new year. Naomi has been keeping me pretty busy lately. She had her 2 month shots and the oral vaccination they gave her made her sinuses drain and her ear drum to swell and now since 12 weeks she has been teething and her first tooth has already started to come through. Not quite getting through yet but its coming in. I cant wait for her to go back to her 4 month so I can see how much weight she has gained. She is already in 3-6 month clothes and is so happy. Choles: Glad that you had your little boy. I am sorry that you were in ICU but I am glad everything is ok now.Chrystal: Hope to hear good news from your end soon. Praying the IVF goes well.HD: Cant wait to see some pictures of your little one. Glad things are going better. I hope you can start gaining some so they dont have to put a pick line in.

HAPPY NEW YEAR GIRLS!!!!! Chloes~Im so sorry that you had to go through that, but im glad that everyone is doing better now. we were beginning to wonder. Crystal~how are you doing with the IVF stuff? hope everything is going as planned. ME~ i ended up in the hospital last week with severe dehydration, evidently not eating or drinking in the fear of throwing it back up will do that to a person. the docs finally gave me something to take at home to help. i haven't lost anymore weight which is good but i haven't gained any either, doc said that if i dont gain by my next appt that i would have to have a picc line put in and given my food through an IV which does not sound appealing by any means at all. we find out if its a girl or a boy on the 17th of Jan and i can't wait. i hope that everyone had a great new years and going to have a great year.

Crystal~ i only lost about a pound this week so the doc was a bit happier about that.  he thinks that its a combination of my metformin and having pretty good morning sickness, so hopefully sinc emy morning sickness is starting to wear off some i'll be able to eat more. so far i have lost about 20 lbs all together, so im gonna shoot for gaining only 20 but we'll see how that goes. good gracious you have a lot going on these next couple of weeks. good luck to you with all your appointments. i'll keep my fingers crossed for ya. i got all my shopping done, now i just gotta wrap them all. and i'm always to tired to by the time the kids go to bed. i'm gonna have to send them to grandmas house one day for a few hours. well i hope that you have a good week and keep me informed on how everything is going.

I haven't been up to much really, just finalizing work before summer break starts :) I haven't got any shopping done yet :( except a few things here and there....lol....the money is sitting in the bank waiting to be spent but I always wait until the last minute because I have to bring it straight home and wrap it. There's no storage in this house and I can't leave them in the garage because spiders get in them...and spiders here can be poisinous so I wait until last minute. I was at the mall on Sat and it was unbelievably busy so I think its going to be a bit stressful when I go. Have you got your shopping all done?   I've got an appointment this week to see the IVF doctor and have a scan done on my ovaries to make sure everything looks ok, and we have the rest of our appointments next week and its then just waiting on AF in Jan and we can get started. Thankfully I'm going to be on a short cycle :) Hope all is going well for you take care of yourself and DH!!

Crystal~ My Kidney infection is gone, thank goodness. DH is doing much better now, the dialysis was making him dehydrated, so he had to cut back on it and now he's good as gold.(for now) i haven't heard anything from Chloes lately but according to her last post she was having a scheduled C-section on the 2nd so she might still be in the hospital or just enjoying the baby. hopefully she'll be back on soon. WOW!!! your IVF stuff is happening pretty quickly, Im sure that your getting pretty excited, nervous and scared all at the same time. I got my fingers and toes crossed for ya.   Me~ i am 12 wks tomorrow and so far the morning sickness is finally starting to ease up some. i am however still losing weight, and my doc said that if i continue to lose at the rate i am i could be in for some extra testing and to make sure baby is fine. Im losing about 3 lbs a week. I was a bit overwieght to begin with, so thankfully i wasn't underweight to begin with. now if these headaches would go away i would feel completely normal except for an expanding belly :) yep im already starting to show, but none of my preggo pants fit cause im losing weight so i wear my DH button up shirts and my regular jeans unbuttoned. i hope that everyone has a great day.

HD: I hope your feeling better, kidney infections are no good!! It is sooooo hard to take care of yourself with little ones as well. Your luck has got to turn around soon and everything will work out. So glad DH got home and at least if he's in the house even if he feels gross, you feel like your not alone at least. Take care and I hope your feeling better!!   Me: All's good, we go next week to finalize IVF for January so that's happening pretty quick. DOes anyone know if Chloes has had her baby yet?

so i went to get DH out of the hospital yesterday i ended up in the ER with trouble breathing and strong pressure on my lower abdomen, they came to the conclusion that i have a left kidney infection and so now my left side is swollen and putting pressure on my left lung. i cant keep my meds down, so i don't know whats gonna happen today at my OB appt. but my sweet DH got to come home. the doc's told me to take better care of myeslf but when your the only parent home to take care of your kids its kinda hard to do that.

Tiffie: She's growing beautifully!! You must be so happy with that :) Immunizations are the worst aren't they? Hopefully she didn't mind them to much, you must be looking forward to her first Christmas as well   HD: Hope he feels well enough to get of the hospital, he has such a rough time of it. I really feel for him. I can't wait to hear how your scan goes to see if there's one or two babies and if your dates are mixed up :) Keep us updated!!

Crystal~~i think that twins would be an adventure that's for sure, we were carrying twins when we misscarried the first time. Im sure you have your hands full right now, but your right January is right around the corner. DH is doing much better they are saying that he might get to come home on Wednesday as long as his blood pressure stays normal and he can eat and drink and take his meds without having them come back up. so we'll see. hope you have a good week

Hello Ladies

HD: I'd say twins would be fantastic but I don't know if you think that...lol, can't wait for you to find out!! Your right they could be off on timing as well. Sorry to hear DH isn't feeling well again, hope he's soon well enough to get home!! I'm thinking of you

Tiffie: WOW 2 months already, its fantastic isn't it? Glad she's growing well and doing so great!! You sound so happy and content being a Mum!!

Chloes: Hope all is well with you and the little one!!

Me: Just scrambling trying to get all of our paperwork and testing and money ready for IVF. Its been down right hectic because January is coming so quickly and then there's Christmas and both kids have Honour nights and JD has his graduation out of Year 6, its just been crazy...lol

Good Morning Ladies~ Well I think that the Doc's miscalculated my pregnancy because i swear that i am feeling movement already and according to them i am only 10 weeks, i think im more like 12 or 13 or there is more then one baby in there. cause something is not right. my preggo symptoms are doubled then when i had my boys. so i have my appt on thursday so im gonna ask for another ultrasound. DH is back in the hospital, so i am back and forth from home and hospital.   well hope you ladies have a wonderful day.

I cant wait to see your little one. I know its a way always lol.Chloes: Havent heard from you in a while how are you and your little man doing?AFM: My little girl is 2 months old already! I cant believe it she is so big and smart. She is slightly ahead on her development both physically and mentally. Its so neat to watch her. She feels like she weighs at least as much as a 10lb bag of potatoes lol. She is so long too! I cant believe how much she has grown and changed so much already. Hope your all great.

Good Morning ~ Crystal~ glad that everything is normal, and that you have a plan set to start IVF. i got my fingers crossed for you that this will happen in the first cycle. At least you get most of your money back, that wouldn't happen here. Im currently 9 wks along and i have another appt on the 2nd of december so i am anxiously waiting for it to come around. DH has started his kidney dialysis and is doing well on it, the only set back for him is the weight gain, but at least it's only fluid, they said that it would stop doing that once he is stable on it. Hope everyone has a great thanksgiving holiday.

Hiya Ladis, Just wanted to let you know that I had my doctor's appointment, everything came back normal we're both healthy etc.etc. She sais we def. have unexplained infertility and we might concieve in the next 5 years, IUI isn't an option as we'd have about a 5% with that so IVF is our best chance. IUI won't work because for us its the sperm meeting the egg and for the cost it just isn't worth it. We could have moved forwrd for an IVF cycle in Dec but with Christmas I decided not too so we're looking at January being our start. It will cost us almost $8000 for the first cycle however we will get $6000 of that back within 48 to 72 hours so that's pretty good.   Hope all is well with everyone!!!!

Hi HD,   I have a friend that had tried to get pregnant for 3 years and her doctor only did 2 scans for the entire prgnancy and the same happened to her she got to about 12 weeks and found out the pregnancy hadn't progressed any further then 7 weeks she was devestated. There's too much technology to not keep a close eye on things, I know they can't stop things from happening in the first trimester but I'd rather know in week 7 than find out in week 12. Morning Sickness is good though :) maybe see if the doc can give you something to help ease it.   Me: Not much doc tomorrow and just waiting to O really :)

Good Morning Ladies~ Crystal~ let us know how your appt goes on Thursday.i'll be praying for ya. When i lived in California we went xmas shopping in shorts and t-shirts it was nice, but very different too. Me~i feel like the morning sickness is never gonna ease up, and i've been having these horrible gas pains that dont seem to be going away either. my next appt is the 2nd of december, i really want another ultrasound then, just to make sure my lil bean is doing alright. we always miscarried around week 7 or 8 but never found out till 12 weeks. my new doc only does 2 scans the whole pregnancy. so that kinda makes me a little upset.

Hiya Ladies,   HD: I'm originaly from Canada but have been here almost two years now :) it was very difficult to adjust to a hot Christmas but we love it now, I can't tell you how great it is to go Christmas shopping in shorts and Tshirt..lol..its much more relaxed I think also because the kids are also on summer break at Christmas. DH hasn't really had to adjust mucbecause he is Australian but it took a little bit for him as he was in Canada for quite a long time. Hope all is well you and the little bean :)   Chloes: Dec.2 is just around the corner, you must be so excited and relieved as well:) Good luck with the move hopefully you get settled in well before he makes his appearance!!   Me: Dr's appointment this Thursday, looking forward to it I think. I'm just getting tired of hearing there's nothing wrong with us.

good morning ladies~ crystal~i keep forgetting that we are in different countries, december here is winter, and its getting pretty cold already, im hoping for lots of snow here, i love it.  glad to hear that DH is so supportive to you, that can make a huge difference in everything. got my fingers crossed for you. chloes~dec 2nd is definetaly not far away, im sure you are super excited about it, i know how you feel about moving and being pregnant, i was 37 wks when we moved with my 2nd son and my husdand worked nights so i had to do all the packing, i hated it, but our baby showed up the next week, thankfully we were already in our new place when we came home from the hospital. be careful lifting and shuffling the heavy stuff.
