Ladies: I'm having this strange wet sensation down there. I don't know if it is mucus or if AF is trying to start. My dang co-worker just stepped away for a minute so I can't go to the restroon until he gets back. This is aggervating and uncomfortable. My co-worker likes to tell me he'll be back in a minute then he shows up an hour later. Grrr ... I sure hope it is mucus and not AF getting everywhere.

Kerrie - I'd say give it more time to move up to the 1500 since you're having side effects. I was an idiot and figured I could speed up O if I just started out on the 1500mg. Then I ate a big plate of pasta, then I was spraying for 3 hours in a row. Who needs a colonic when there's Metformin out there?!?! Anyway, for me, 500 mg was all I could ever take and lead a normal life without being in constant scouting of a toilet. Hopefully the Met works better for you.

Amanda - Very interesting chart indeed. I'm holding out hope for you.

Hoping - I'm glad the spotting has stopped. Just take it easy and think positive thoughts. When your mom comes, can she sent me a tamale? That's all I've been craving for 1.5 weeks now is tamales. LOL!!!

Tammy - Hang in there. The wait is awful and the disappointment is almost unbearable, but in the end, it's so worth it. This time I O'd on 50mg as I did w/ dd, but this time around nothing happened. They upped my dosage and nothing. Then a fluke late O that we just happened to catch. If we hadn't of caught the O, I was supposed to start injections at what would have been 14 DPO. My RE said that women who don't respond to 50mg of Clomid, that the 100 mg seems to be the magic dosage for PCOS women. However, if that doesn't work, the Folistim and Gonal-F work almost 100% of the time and are extremely effective in PCOS women. So, don't give up, you still have quite a few options.

Sun - picking out names is always hard. Dh is a hippie and likes names like Unity and Freedom. Naming dd was almost impossible. For some reason, w/ this baby the process was much easier.

Hi Ladies

Amanda - looking good so far!!!! I am rooting for you!
Hoping - thanks for the advice on deli meats - I had read that as well, but from what I have gathered the data is very conflicting. Besides, I am not eating them every day.... maybe once a week at most..... believe it or not.... I have now moved on to baked beans????
As well, in regards to your beta, I also asked my Doctor for a second beta and they were more than willing. I had one at 13DPO and then at 17DPO. I was frightened they would think I was crazy, but they were totally okay with it... and I am so glad that I asked. it really put my mind at ease.
Tammy - FYI - I did not O on 50 mg or 100 mg of clomid. I sometimes think it might have been due to my size, as the 150 mg did work. I am 5'10, and I just assumed that a 50 mg pill would not have the same effect on me as it would a girl of 5'4 size. I am just throwing out a guess here.... who knows. Is there anyway your doctor would prescribe metformin? I hadmore success with that. Oing my first month on it and also getting my first ever BFP!
Kerri - I was impatient and moved from 500 mg up to 1500 mg within the first week. To be honest I had no side effects with the 500 mg and then went to 1000 mg with nothing. However, at 1500 mg the nausea kicked in.

Hoping: Can you call you Dr and tell him that you'd like another beta to ease your mind. Maybe if you mention the spotting and wanting to ease your mind they would let you in.

Tammy, you could be definitely ovulating late, one time I had ewcm twice in the cycle, one week apart, and I thought it was really late to ovulate then, I really thought I ovulated the first time, and I did not, I ovulated the second time I saw ewcm. Somtimes our bodies can be a bit lazy, that is what my doc tells me. As Amanda, says you can get a progesterone test done to see if you ovulated and if you did not this time, I am sure you will in the next cycles, sometimes it takes time for our bodies to react. I thin you are in 50mg right? they can also increase your dose.
Sending you big hugs, oh and I can understand how you feel, we all have gone through it.

I have a yucky question about cm. Sorry. I just checked again and it has changed to creamy again. There was some ewcm a 1/2 hour ago. What the heck is going on???? Why is it doing that. I am so confused.

Tammy: I'm sorry this is so rough on you. I'm glad that you have an appointment coming up though. Maybe they can do a progesterone test on you and if you haven't ovulated they can give you something to start AF. The waiting stage is really hard ... waiting to O is always the worst for me.

I have an appt on Thursday with the Fert Doc, I am on CD 24. I just feel so bummed out that the clomid probably didn't work this time. We also had family in from Edmonton and they have a 3 little ones, I was happy to see them but it made me sad that we have none. Can't think about it right now cuz I can feel the tears coming on.
Talk to you later

Hoping: I'm so happy for you!! Do you have your first appointment set up yet?

Kerri: I don't know if 4 days of each is enough. I went straight to 500mg twice a day on the first day. It took me about a week and a half I think until I felt any better. Yes, your ticker is working is that CD1 I see? Woo Hoo! That's great!

Tammy: With the EWCM and the temp dip this morning maybe you are gearing up to O late. Did you Dr tell you to call if you haven't Oed by any certain date? If not maybe you can call them and ask. I forgot what CD you are on right now.

If pregnant I'm 4w3d according to LMP and 4w4d according to Ovulation. I'm still holding hope but I'm not testing again for a while. I'm just going to hang out and really just see what happens. I might even be pregnant but it isn't implanting good and the HCG isn't rising right, who knows. We'll see though.

Morning Girls,
I took a couple of days off and we don't have internet at home. Well I don't think that I o'd on 50mg of clomid. My temp went down this morning and honestly it never really went up that high anyways. I have an appt on thurs at the fert clinic, I am guessing that he will up my doseage to 100 mg. I had a bit of ewcm yesterday. This is getting really frustrating, I can't imagine having to try for years and years. I thought for sure that I had o'd last week, major cramping and pinching mostly on the right side and then one big pinch on my left side.
Amanda, I am sure that you will get your bfp this time. No AF is good!!
Kerr, the met side effect do get better with time. I am on 3000 mg of it. When I first started I could of it was brutal. My advise is to stay away from restaurant food and my experience is if I go out to eat I have to eat and run otherwise I get to spend some extra time in the looo at the restaraunt!!
Rena & Hoping, I hope all is well with you and your beans :)
Kim, Keep up the good work
Cheers,
Tammy

Mornig girls!!!
Amanda your lp is looking like 16 days now...yay! And even .1 up gives hope BFP BFP BFP!!
LOL Hoping you are pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I have a quick question...how did you girls increase your dose of met?
I was thinking 4 days on 500 mg and then 4 days on 1000 mg then move up to the 1500. I don't know though, I don't want to be too sick, then again some women are sick no matter what. LOL

Amanda, there is hope for sure..sending bfp dust.

Now I can feel my bbs getting a bit fuller, not a lot but I can tell. I POAS this am and is still positive, the line came really quick.

Rena- I was reading on the internet and it said that you should be careful with deli meats, Im not sure if its true, but Im just passing info on what I read, it said that you can eat them but if you cook them first.

Kerri: LOL You have a way with words. Sorry it is so rough on you.

Hoping: That is so wonderful that your mom and cousin are coming to visit. I hope they have a safe trip!

Rena: 8 weeks!! How wonderful! Sorry about the food aversion!

Well no AF yet ... 17DPO, we eve BD last night and thought that would bring it on. My temp only went .1 degree back up today. This is getting crazy.

Hey Hoping - that is so nice that your mum and sister are coming to visit. Just like you, our baby will be the first in the family, so itmakes everything that more exciting!!!!

Kerri - LMAO!!!!! You are super funny!!! Sorry about the runs, but I cantotally picture you running off that course!!!! You poor thing.

Amanda - hope all is well!!!! Sending you lots of ++++++++!!!!

As for me, nothing new to report but I have definitely lost my apetite for all forms of meat, including fish! It has been a really odd process... one by one each type of meat has made my stomach turn over the past few weeks and tonight was the last straw when ribs were put infront of me (except for deli meat on a sub - I am loving that and vinegar???)

LOL Kerri..I feel bad that you have the runs, but its just so funny the way you say it.. and the feeling on your ovaries.. that is great news, its doing something right, you will be preggy in no time girl.

Amanda, that is great news! no AF, well here is a message for AF.. Stay away you BEYOTCH!!

Kim- how is it going girl, you must be a hottie by now with all that workout..

Rena- Yes, Im trying not to worry but its hard, its like whenever I pee I have to look at the toilet paper.. that is just retarded..

Coopsmom, Indy- hello to your little beans.
Elektra, how is it going for you.
Tammy- where are you girl, sending bfp dust.

Im feeling a bit better, I have not seen the brown thing anymore, I told my dh and he told me to take it easy and that BU (pronounced like BOO), that is the way he calls the baby, its going to be fine.
My mom and my cousin are coming to visit me(from Mexico) and they are going to stay 2 weeks, I already told my mom, so she is extremely happy, its going to be the first grandchild for my family, God willing that is.

ok I better go and I will write you all tomorrow.

LOL I spoke too soon! I was on the golf course tonight and I left in the middle of the 3rd hole...I was running for the toilet like I have never run before!!! And holy f***ing explosion batman! LOL
I had minimal if any carbs at all today! So that trick is out the window haha! Hopefully it will settle down. I didn't have the nausea today at all so that was wonderful. The headache is constant if I don't drink water constantly but at least that is controlable with the water.
YAY Amanda...++++++++ praying for tomorrow!

Hey I really can feel something going on in my ovaries though...did anyone else feel that with the met?

Amanda - this is so weird!!! I really hope AF stays away and you end up with a big fat + tomorrow morning!
Indy - I love the name as well!!! DH and I have started toying with names but cannot agree on anything as of yet.
Kerri - glad you are feeling better. FYI - I found that the higher the dose I took the sicker I felt..... good thing you are taking it slow!
Hoping - I am just as big as a worrywart as you are. I just keep counting the days until the second trimester and everytime I go for a pee I check for blood as well. Indy is right though... try and enjoy it as much as possible. (It is really flying by for me)

Hoping - It's OK and normal to be a mess...especially after having an mc. Freak out when you need to, but stay off the internet. I pretty much missed the 1st tri of dd's pregnancy because I was such a worry wart. It goes by so fast, try to enjoy every second of it.

Amanda & Electra - sending you more hugs.

Hoping - no worries. brown spotting it's fine. you only need to be worried if it's bright red blood accompanied by cramping. I had brown cm w/ dd.

Rena - wow...you're coming up on 2 mo already. Just a few more weeks until 2nd tri

Kim - 11 lbs is great! Who hoo!

Ker - I eat healthy, but the Met just sucked for me. Total shitsville! I was also one of the unlucky ones who didn't O while on the Met either. Hopefully you get results like Rena.

We decided to give our baby a good surfer name, so we're going with Brodie Finn. Now the renovations on the house start...

DH is trying to explain the temp dip this morning ... he said it because the house was colder than normal. I was freezing when I went to bed last night and he said that when we woke up this morning that he wasn't sweating like normal. I just don't know if the house being cold would affect the temp THAT much. He's being really cute, he is really trying to help. I have to admit though, still holding on to hope does make me feel a little better. I can keep praying and dreaming that this is our month at least until the hag shows.

Hoping: We tried the Fertilaid for Men and got no results. We also tried vitamins and herb combo and it didn't work either. Now he just takes a mutli-viatmin every morning and we both eat healthy.

Kim: Thank you for the encouragement. I'm having weird pains in my uterus area that feel like what I would call pain from the uterus streaching but at the same time it could be me gearing up to shed. We'll see.

Oh Amanda, Im very sorry. But I know you will get pregnant very soon, the met seems to be the right med for you as it made you ovulate right on day 14. I know your dh did not have a 100% good sperm, mine did not either, actually my doc recommened me to take him to a urologyst. What I did though, was that I bought him fertilaid for men, and it seemed to have helped. Maybe you can tell dh to try it, or maybe he is already on medication. Im sending you a big hug and remember it will happen very soon for you too.

Hey Ladies

I am finally back for good.... well at least until next weekend.

Electra - I see the line hun! Sending you +++++ vibes!!!
Amanda - temps are still up! I am hoping and praying for you!!
Kim - 11 lbs!!! Whoooo Hooooo - that is a whole dress size! Congrats!
Kerri - just so you know. I did not get the runs on the met, but I was super nauseous with it for about 2 weeks. It always came in the late afternoon and lasted until I fell asleep. It was not pleasant but so worth it! What ever you do, fight the side effects.... they will go away!

Hoping - LMAO!!! I also continued to pee on sticks!! I even did one at 6 weeks!! I became addicted to seeing the lines become dark + I have so many internet pregnancy tests left over that I thought why not! (I am tempted to do one tonight again for the fun of it - I am nuts) Actually the one I did at 6 weeks was bright purple and showed up instantly - I ran to DH and said... do you want more proof. (He still is in shock I think)

Hoping: If my temps are still up tomorrow then yes ... and most likely even if my temps are down slightly. I only have one test left anyways. I'll probably try to go in and get a beta tomorrow. I'll either tell them that I tested positive and I want it confirmed or that I'm late and I haven't gotten a positive yet and I just want them to check for me.

Kerri: Welcome back!! I'm taking Metformin 500mg 2x a day. When starting it and when I eat bad foods (too much sugar) I get an upset stomach.

Ladies: I'm feeling better now. I had to wallow in my misery for a little while but I feel better. I know that there is still hope for this cycle. I'm really ancious to see my morning temp. Tomorrow's temp should tell me a lot of things. I have always had a temp dive on 13DPO and on all of my clomid cycles except 1 I have had a 13 day LP. So tomorrow will tell me a lot of things. DH still says that he knows I'm pregnant. He even went as far as saying that we're having a girl. LOL We'll see about that ... we won't find out until birth anyways.
