Fallback rise_-- Temperatures may show a fallback rise pattern. In a fallback rise pattern the temperature rises significantly and abruptly as you would expect, but then it drops again immediately before it rises again and is sustained throughout the luteal phase

i don't think i ever was pregnant. i think the nurse read it wrong on friday. it always has been negative. i did blood work today and it was also negative. i don't even think i ovulated last month which would result in no period this month. thanks for everything though. Brandy

Brandy - did your doctor mention anything about it being a possible chemical pregnancy?

I did the Equate one, and then they did one in the docs office on friday. both were positive, then on Wednesday i went in for the results of the blood one and it was less than 2. i did that one also on friday. well, the doc was confused and told me to do another urine so i did and that came out negative. so we are really confused now. even the docs don't know what happened except that the nurse read it wrong at the office on friday. but then why do i have all the symptoms and no period? weird, very weird. well, write back to let me know what you think. Brandy,

I read your expert post and I heard that your doctor are saying that you aren't pregnant.... Anyway, what brand hpt did you use? I have heard that the digital Clearblue gives false positive reading/s. So, if that is the one you had used, then I would suggest you to take another brand of hpt and see what your result will be.

Brandy,

I saw your chart post somewhere in the expert forum and it looks like you may not be ovulating yet because there is no thermal shift. (low temps in pre 0 and high temps in post O). My best guess is that your chart is more of like annovulation meaning no ovulation has/had occurred. If this is a repeating in your future cycle/s, I would talk to your doctor about it.

Brandy,

As I indicated something called fallback rise... I have been meaning to try and find more info's about it and I couldn't find it.. Maybe you can ask Dr. Amos and from there, he'll explain what it really means.

Good luck!
