In the 2WW...

Hi Ladies,

So Babymed confirmed my O date as CD14 (last Thursday), so I'm moving over here! My niece is coming for a week long visit today, so I'm hoping that part of the wait goes by fast. Of course the second half is going to drag on and on, I'm sure! Good luck to everyone.

Welcome back to BabyMed and thank you for being patient!
This topic here has 17820 posts (!) and when you open it it takes time to load. I was wondering if everybody could consider to start a new post. How about "In the 2WW #2" ?

Morning girls - BM seems to be working this morning so let's hope it continues!

Mack - sorry to see your BFN yesterday! :( How are you feeling?

Mary, Jessica & Laura - I hope your cramps have subsided and AF isn't being mean to you anymore!

I'm still waiting...felt crampy last night but I don't know if it was actual crampy feelings or wishful thinking! : /

addies- thanks! hope things are getting less stressful for you!

mel- i have only been trying for 4 months but that feels like for ever! when i was at my last appt in august, i told her i was about to start trying, i even monitored my cycles since august and have it written down. even though we didnt start trying to BD around O time until jan maybe i will tell her september. that will make it 8 months of ttc!

Jess - how long have you been trying? I fudged it a bit when we went to DH's appointment because I know they won't usually do anything until after the year mark. Our year is coming up in May anyway, so it wasn't that big of a stretch. I hope your doc will cooperate with you!

oh and when i called i asked if i should wait until a year or should i go ahead and make an appt and she said go ahead and make an appt. so....i cant wait, if nothing else, she will know what i am trying and can give suggestions so when a year does come up ( IF a year comes up!) then she will already know what has been going on

Jessica- if you haven't been trying long your doc will probably want to see your charts and may order your thyroid levels checked since you have a history of problems with that. Then if you have no luck after a year, or you are not ovulating they will start with more tests. Hope all goes well!
Mel- hope you get af soon and can feel better. I can't believe how long this cycle has been for you. Maybe you'll get lucky like heather and I. We both got bfps after super long cycles.
Laura- forgot to say that I am so glad the house inspection came back good!

Jess - why are you going to see the doc? I'd imagine that he/she might want to look at your charts and just do a consultation. I don't know if they'll do any bloodtests or not since that'll be around your O time. BTW you need a new ticker!

mel- i really hope AF comes soon, you must feel miserable! i hate being bloated, it is one of the worst feelings ever! yesterday i felt like i was michelin man!

i made an appt with my obgyn for may 11th. that is the earliest they could work me in. that is also right around when i am suppose to be ovulating.
what do you think they will do on the first visit?

I am SO sick of all the issues BM is having! I couldn't post at all this weekend because every time I'd go to a new page it would make me sign on again! I could read everything, just couldn't post! Now here at work I can stay signed in but the pages don't always load and I get "cannot find server" messages... frustrating!

Anyway, as I emailed a few of you - I'm SO sorry AF has shown up for everyone! BOO!

Jessica - I have no clue why sometimes flow is heavier or lighter. I have that sometimes too - maybe it has something to do with which side you O'd from? LOL I seriously have NO clue...

Still nothing for me and tonight I take my last Provera pill... I really hope it works and I start soon b/c I am terribly bloated/swollen because of the medicine! I got my wedding ring STUCK on my finger Saturday night and had to literally hold on to my DH's ice pack in order to be able to budge it one tiny little bit and I still had to about rip my finger off, it hurt SO bad! So yeah, I'm not wearing my rings until the swelling goes down, hopefully it will soon!

Laura...I'm pretty sure I know exact O date. I got +OPK on a Wednesday and Thursday and had O pain Thursday night. I am thinking about charting my temps this time...It's been a LONG time since I charted...so I will have to research the basics!
I am curious to talk with my doctor tomorrow to see why she thinks AF came a week early. I think my uterus needed some cleaning out, as I passed a few larger clots as well. I just hope she is all cleaned out now and ready for the next cycle.
I actually started seeing very tiny streaks on Friday night (that is what made me think it was implantation (that was 8DPO). Then Saturday afternoon I started spotting on a pad and by last night I was bleeding heavily (clots into toliet water). Today I have been using a tampon so no leakage today. I am counting Saturday as CD1--since I had good bleeding by late afternoon---that would put Monday at CD3

I hope you have a great day outside though!

Addies- I forgot to tell you- I am so sorry for all the stress you are dealing with right now. Stupid bad economy! I'm wishing the best for you and be sure to take breaks here and there to relax. Got to take care of your little sticky bean! Here's to a much happier May! :) :)

This sucks that AF is showing for all of us! URGHHHH!!!!! I am feeling better today. ****TMI ALERT************ I passed 3 big clots last night. Guess that is why I was cramping so bad.

Well, I probably won't be on much today. It is very pretty here today and I think I am going to sit outside and take it easy.

Jessica- so sorry that AF came. I know you figured it was about to happen, but I'm still so sorry!

Tricia- AF came really early for you- sorry! Are you certain of your ovulation date? Maybe you ovulated earlier than you think? Also, you are supposed to count your first day of heavy flow as day one when taking Clomid. Are you going to try charting this cycle? GL to you :)

Well, I hope more people are able to get very soon. I'm getting a little concerned- its been quite a few days already and its still so slow and lots of errors...

Just as I had suspeceted...AF UP SHOWED LAST NIGHT! GRRRRRRR!
I was disappointed but I didn't cry...I know God's timing is PERFECT! On the plus side of things, I won't have to be on progesterone for 10 days this cycle :-)
The other thing is that AF is REALLY heavy. I wonder if the lining of my uterus was too thick for an egg to attach. Seeing this was my first month off BC. While on BC I always had pretty light periods. I can't believe how much bleeding I have right now...that's a good sign right?

Seeing that bleeding really started Saturday, then Monday would be CD3. I will call the doctor on Monday to see if I can start cloimd right away tomorrow! That would be nice...
I also want to ask the Dr. why AF would show up a whole week early! That seems weird to me.
Anyway, thanks for your support...I am still keeping my fingers crossed for those that can test this week! I am hoping to see some BFPs!!!

Addies, Just an FYI

If your husband has had a change in job status income, he can talk with the financial aid office at his school to see if he can get additional financial aid. Also check with your local unemployement office and ask about a program entitled "No Worker Left Behind" He may be able to get assistance there also depending on his area of study and income.

Hope this helps and sending prayers your way!

I know I am over-thinking all of this...but every time I go to the bathroom, I freak out more. There is more blood each time I wipe...still nothing on the undies..only when I wipe (and definately more than just streaks now). I have read that implantation bleeding can be just a small streak, or could leave small spots in the underware...so I probably still shouldn't worry..but to me it seems like an aweful lot of blood for just implantation.

I am beginning to feel my cycle is starting early. It really shouldn't come until next Saturday..but seeing that my cycles are not regular, I guess it could come anytime. I'm getting bummed and now I wish the bleeding would stop---to give me some hope to take that PG test within the next few days.

I am so sorry for all you guys. April has been a terrible month. My contract ended with the company I was working for in March and my dh got demoted at his job due to budget cuts. Our savings are gone! We had to buy a new computer and pay for dh's semester at school. Now his truck needs work and so does my van. I can get my brother to do the work, but I have to try and find the money for the parts. I have been super stressed and trying really hard to gain weight and just keep from falling behind on bills. GRRRR I hate April. I just want it to be May already. Dh will be doing a new fafsa for next year and will hopefully get more grants. So that will help. Sorry to vent but I am super frustrated!!!

Mary- oh no! you too?? April is not a good month apparently for TTC! I'm so sorry you are cramping so bad. Try taking Ibuprofen- it always helps me. I take about 3-4 (600-800mg) about three times a day during my period and it really helps the cramps.

Jessica- I am feeling better today. I think that starting AF has gotten whatever remaining side effects I had from Clomid out of my system. I really think it upped the amount of progesterone in my body this 2WW and that is why I felt so bad. I hope you are having a great day at a salon somewhere!

Well, I told you all yesterday that I was crying horribly yesterday on the phone to DH- which made me feel bad because he was at work at the hospital and I know he gets upset whenever I'm upset... but he was SUPER SWEET when he came home. Flowers, chocolate bars, and break and bake chocolate chip cookies. He scored major points!

Mel- How many days left of provera? You are almost done, right? I don't think you will be too far behind. It will be great to have a bunch of in the next 2WW together. :)

May is going to be a good month for all of us, I just feel it! (I'm a bit prejudiced though b/c its my birthday month LOL)

I spoke to soon....I do still have streaking this morning. I just went to the bathroom again. More blood than last night..but still streaky. Can implantation bleeding last a few days? It's ok, as long as I don't see a flo of blood...correct?

Can I get AF this early on? 9DPO? What if this is AF? Could this be CD1 again, and if so...do I start clomid in 3 days? Ok..I was excited to see the blood at first...implantation...right? Now I am worried that it is still there! Oh, what a rollarcoaster ride we are on!

Tricia- Yes, implantation can be just a small bit of blood and then gone. And don't worry about the BFN- it is still very very early!

CRISTY- WHERE ARE YOU? Come back!

Mel- Any AF yet? She is here big time for me as of this morning so I'm sending TONS of AF dust your way!

I think I got implantation bleeding today! I am 8DPO and just got a bright pink streak when I went! I am praying it is implantation and not AF coming...AF would be a week early if it was her!
I didn't have any nausea today, so could the nausea have been from implantation?
Now I am crazy excited!
