Still today a little dark, but when I did one tonight, at 11:00, the FR looks positive and the internet cheapy is very negative..?? Sometimes I really hate POAS. Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi. I don't if anyone remembers me, but I recognize some of you. Anyway, I have been still checking in and reading now and then, and when I come back, this new Babymed has me really confused! It is so slow.I haven't posted anything in months since I haven't had a TWW for a long time. DH and I are still living in different states, and our timing has been really bad... until this month! I actually had thought this month was out since he didn't visit until CD 24, but I do ovulate late sometimes. A few days before he was supposed to arrive I realized I hadn't O'd yet because my boobs weren't sore, and so I also temped a few times and my temp was still low.I am so excited to be in the TWW finally!
you are all so nice, but sadly I am a dinosaur with no FB page! well my temps held up for 13DPO, but plummeted today along with the nasty brown cm...so now just waiting it out. This was a mean trick AF played on me this month. Stupid bitch how are all of you? hopefully BM gets its act together soon, and I will eventually get a FB page going :)

I noticed from your signature that you are hypothyroid. I am as well and have been for over 20 years. Do you have hasimotos or a different kind of hypo? I ask only because I think that it may be contributing to my conceiving and miscarriage, and and wondering what your doc says. I just started seeing a new endocrinologist this last week.
Hi Mari, I do not know which type I am.. Sad huh?? My RE has been testing me yearly for about 4 years now. My levels were never really that high and they do not fluctuate much. I have been on the same dosage for 3 years and she changed it in January 2010 because my level was "borderline high".. She said that she saw nothing that would prevent me from concieving.. It is my understanding that if your level is not "leveled" out and constantly changes then that can effect your fertility status.. but I am not 100 % sure. I have always just took my Dr's word that everything is ok and I feel fine. When my level gets high, I get contipated and want to sleep all the time with hardly any energy.. after she started me on a higher dose in January I could tell a 100% difference within a month. I am saying all that to say my Dr nor I feel it has an effect on My body. I do remember a conversation with Jessica (doodlebug600) and she also has hypothyroidism, and she has alot of info on it... she currently posts on the 2nd trimester board called Summer bumps brings Holiday babies.. she seems to know a good bit about it.. I can only speak from my own body :) I hope this helps!!

Thanks Mel, I just did a Request to join your FB group! I had other BM girls as friends, but the problem was there were so many wall posts that I was losing the ones written by my family members...and I don't go on FB everyday to catch up. It just got too hard to keep up, so I had to delete the BM girls :-( I figured I could still keep up with them here...but of course,then they went and changed everything on me!

Jaime~ Well the saliva swab test cost $300 and it wasn't covered by my medical insurace. I think the first container of cream might have been part of that $300, so I don't know exactly how much each container costs. But I only use 1/4 teaspoon twice a day so it will probably last a month or more.

Yeah I would wait two more days to test. I think you are preggos, just have to give it some time to start producing that hormone so you can see it on the darn test!
well the 1st time I was was waiting and waiting for AF b/c of all the AF symptoms... and about a week after I was due for AF I tested (this was before TTC consumed my life - I can't believe I was so patient!) but the 2nd time I tested 10 DPO for a +, but had a temp dip and a small spotting a few days earlier than this time - maybe 5 or 6 DPO. If I get AF I am just going to die - I am so hopeful!!
Katie- It still may be to early for a positive to show up, but sounds like this could be it! When did you get your positives the last time? Oh I so want this for you!!!!
why oh why can't we get our charts??? I need your expert help over here! so in a nutshell, I am 10 DPO today. temps a 1/2 degree higher than pre-O for days 1-7 around 98.3 or 98.4ish, them bummer temp drop 8DPO to 98.1, cramps, zits, etc begin. then yesterday up again to 98.4 and had a small red spotting, then today more cramps and 98.5! semms good, but then I also get this AM a BFN. WTH???
Tammy- Thank You! I saw your theory about the IE vs Firefox and you were right! I use firefox and it wasn't breaking the lines for me and it was annoying me. So I tried IE right now and now it is breaking them! I know this seems trivial, but it is the little things that get to me sometimes :)
Joleene- That sounds really interesting about the cream. Can I ask if it was expensive to have that made?

Tammy~ It is a topical cream. I am still using the Maca because nothing in it will mix poorly with the Maca. In fact, there is a little Maca in it! It has so much! And I feel sooo good since I started taking it and it's only been 2 days! I am so excited because my acupuncturist is out of town right now due to family emergency so I can't stat back quite yet. Itell ya, I'm don everythin I can rghtnow. Finges crossed!

Mel: I think I'm one of the "lucky" (I use that term loosley) few that if its wierd and funky it'll happen to me and being that late to test positive even by blood was a bit wierd , but yeah never give up till she shows full force my mother and grandmother both got AF when they were pregnant. Thank god I wasn't in that boat I might of jumped ship...lol...can't imagine finally looking forward to a 9 month free AF zone and it shows up..hehe. Everything's crossed for you!!
Crystal - wow, thanks for sharing that! It always amazes me to hear stories of ppl that were pregnant but kept getting negative tests! My spotting has picked up again today, but it's weird, mixed with EWCM instead of normal flow. With my huge temp drop today though, I won't be surprised if AF shows full force soon.
Thanks for the info ladies, I wondered about spotting after they didn't tell me that, and the doctor did tell me there have been pregnancies soon after the test which would be fantastic!! Ya just think after 17 years of no BC(I'm 35) and only two babies (both from clomid) there would have been at least one oopsie, but nope not a one. If anyone minds me asking what does a cycle of IVF cost in the States? If we end up needing to go with IVF the worst case scenerio would be 2500 for the first round and then 1500 each round thereafter, it sounds pretty good to me because it was in the tens of thousands not that many years ago.

Mel: I didn't test positive with my daughter until I was a few weeks late and I spotted for that entire time, I even went and had foot surgery done because the preg. test came up neg. at the hospital so don't give up just yet and I've got my fingers crossed for you.

That is awesome about the cream that you are using. Is it topical or do you take it like a vitamin? How long have you been on it? Is this in addition to the maca you were taking too?
Tammy~ I hope all of our charts come back! I used to look at my bfp chart periodically when I was feeling blue. It kind of gave me comfort and hope. I didn't chart that month on ff so I am praying that all of the charts come back!
AFM~ I was going to add this earlier, but I got interrupted. Huh, my students wanted my attention! lol I told a couple of people about this, but I went to my kinesiologist about a month and a half ago and did a saliva test. They check hormones and electrolytes. Then they take the results and create a cream especially for me to help balance everything out. Mine had progesterone, magnesium, dhea and a few other things. Girls, I am feeling 100% better! I have been researching magnesium deficiency and holy cow! I am a walking list of symptoms! Did you know that it can be a reason for unexplained infertility? Migraines, depression, anxiety, ADD, insomnia, and tension headaches are some of the symptoms. Just thought I would share.

I have a theory on why some of the threads cut off. This new BM is a beta website, so I'm wondering if it makes a difference if you use Internet Exporer or another wweb app like firefox? I use Internet Explorer. So know when I post I'll be ablle to see if my posts cut off.

I did discover on this new BM that you can permanently take of the notifications (wow my inbox was flooded). Just go to edit in your profile and select it....then it won't automatically check that box when you add a comment. Also you can set YOUR time zone so the times show in your zone and not a set area.

Normally when you sleep w/ your mouth open it makes it go way DOWN. Crystal~ TAke the Ibuprofen!! I did an SHG first without meds and it was quite painful! I learned from my mistake and when I had the HSG I took 4 ibuprofen about 45 minutes before. It was a piece of cake. I didn't have any residual cramping afterwards either. Good luck!

Nice long LP you've got cookin' there :) Mack - I had to reset my password too. So frustrating! How are you feeling mama? I saw your bump on the other board a few days ago. You are one gorgeous preggo! God, I wish I had looked like that when I was pregnant :) Crystal - I had an HSG too. Actually got my bfp the same month that I did the HSG. Definitely take the ibuprofin. it wasn't bad for me, but some women have had a lot of cramping and pain afterward.

Thanks Mel, I just did a Request to join your FB group! I had other BM girls as friends, but the problem was there were so many wall posts that I was losing the ones written by my family members...and I don't go on FB everyday to catch up. It just got too hard to keep up, so I had to delete the BM girls :-( I figured I could still keep up with them here...but of course,then they went and changed everything on me!

Jaime~ Well the saliva swab test cost $300 and it wasn't covered by my medical insurace. I think the first container of cream might have been part of that $300, so I don't know exactly how much each container costs. But I only use 1/4 teaspoon twice a day so it will probably last a month or more.
Katie~ Oh my gosh I am hopin for ya! It sounds so good, but that stupid BFN just is so frustrating!
Mel~ sorry about AF. And boy the timing would just stink, but I am soooo excited about you guys coming to Vegas that I can't be too sorry right now! hee hee

Yeah I would wait two more days to test. I think you are preggos, just have to give it some time to start producing that hormone so you can see it on the darn test!

well the 1st time I was was waiting and waiting for AF b/c of all the AF symptoms... and about a week after I was due for AF I tested (this was before TTC consumed my life - I can't believe I was so patient!) but the 2nd time I tested 10 DPO for a +, but had a temp dip and a small spotting a few days earlier than this time - maybe 5 or 6 DPO. If I get AF I am just going to die - I am so hopeful!!

why oh why can't we get our charts??? I need your expert help over here! so in a nutshell, I am 10 DPO today. temps a 1/2 degree higher than pre-O for days 1-7 around 98.3 or 98.4ish, them bummer temp drop 8DPO to 98.1, cramps, zits, etc begin. then yesterday up again to 98.4 and had a small red spotting, then today more cramps and 98.5! semms good, but then I also get this AM a BFN. WTH???

Tammy- Thank You! I saw your theory about the IE vs Firefox and you were right! I use firefox and it wasn't breaking the lines for me and it was annoying me. So I tried IE right now and now it is breaking them! I know this seems trivial, but it is the little things that get to me sometimes :)
Joleene- That sounds really interesting about the cream. Can I ask if it was expensive to have that made?

Tammy~ It is a topical cream. I am still using the Maca because nothing in it will mix poorly with the Maca. In fact, there is a little Maca in it! It has so much! And I feel sooo good since I started taking it and it's only been 2 days! I am so excited because my acupuncturist is out of town right now due to family emergency so I can't stat back quite yet. Itell ya, I'm don everythin I can rghtnow. Finges crossed!

Mel: I think I'm one of the "lucky" (I use that term loosley) few that if its wierd and funky it'll happen to me and being that late to test positive even by blood was a bit wierd , but yeah never give up till she shows full force my mother and grandmother both got AF when they were pregnant. Thank god I wasn't in that boat I might of jumped ship...lol...can't imagine finally looking forward to a 9 month free AF zone and it shows up..hehe. Everything's crossed for you!!

Crystal - wow, thanks for sharing that! It always amazes me to hear stories of ppl that were pregnant but kept getting negative tests! My spotting has picked up again today, but it's weird, mixed with EWCM instead of normal flow. With my huge temp drop today though, I won't be surprised if AF shows full force soon.
Thanks for the info ladies, I wondered about spotting after they didn't tell me that, and the doctor did tell me there have been pregnancies soon after the test which would be fantastic!! Ya just think after 17 years of no BC(I'm 35) and only two babies (both from clomid) there would have been at least one oopsie, but nope not a one. If anyone minds me asking what does a cycle of IVF cost in the States? If we end up needing to go with IVF the worst case scenerio would be 2500 for the first round and then 1500 each round thereafter, it sounds pretty good to me because it was in the tens of thousands not that many years ago.

Mel: I didn't test positive with my daughter until I was a few weeks late and I spotted for that entire time, I even went and had foot surgery done because the preg. test came up neg. at the hospital so don't give up just yet and I've got my fingers crossed for you.

That is awesome about the cream that you are using. Is it topical or do you take it like a vitamin? How long have you been on it? Is this in addition to the maca you were taking too?
Tammy~ I hope all of our charts come back! I used to look at my bfp chart periodically when I was feeling blue. It kind of gave me comfort and hope. I didn't chart that month on ff so I am praying that all of the charts come back!
AFM~ I was going to add this earlier, but I got interrupted. Huh, my students wanted my attention! lol I told a couple of people about this, but I went to my kinesiologist about a month and a half ago and did a saliva test. They check hormones and electrolytes. Then they take the results and create a cream especially for me to help balance everything out. Mine had progesterone, magnesium, dhea and a few other things. Girls, I am feeling 100% better! I have been researching magnesium deficiency and holy cow! I am a walking list of symptoms! Did you know that it can be a reason for unexplained infertility? Migraines, depression, anxiety, ADD, insomnia, and tension headaches are some of the symptoms. Just thought I would share.

Katie, I have a question for you. The red spot sounds very promising!!! I was just wondering did they ever determine the cause of your previous two m/c? I know last time you had testing done, but I can't remember if you posted the results. Are you currently on progesterone?
I have a theory on why some of the threads cut off. This new BM is a beta website, so I'm wondering if it makes a difference if you use Internet Exporer or another wweb app like firefox? I use Internet Explorer. So know when I post I'll be ablle to see if my posts cut off.
So where did the charts go? I hope for you girls that have been charting for a long time that you can get that information back!
How is Erin doing in her cycle? Haven't seen any posts from her.

I had to end up opening up another email account and creating a new username just so i can go on this definitely not improved site!! It didn't send me my new password that I requested 6 times to my original email address. The worst user friendly site ever not to mention! Yeah So I bummed, I'm thinking my 3rd trimester girls will take one look at this site and say hasta la bye bye!! Luckily I can catch with most of them on FB. Anyway. My laptop has crashed ... won't even start up now .... I think I will blame it on BM!!! Now my desk top is acting up!! Definitely will blame BM if they both crash. I do see pop ups likes crazy when on BM..... even with high pop up bocking!
I did discover on this new BM that you can permanently take of the notifications (wow my inbox was flooded). Just go to edit in your profile and select it....then it won't automatically check that box when you add a comment. Also you can set YOUR time zone so the times show in your zone and not a set area.

Jo - go to mybabymed section and Edit. Then you can add a signature. Katie - I liked season 1 b/c it stuck fairly close to the books. This season is just WAY OFF and pretty much Satanic. No other way around that. And it strays SO far from the books. We were thinking of adding HBO for the summer so I could just watch Season 3 live, but after this weird twist I don't know if I'll keep up with it. As for your temps, WEIRD that it went UP. Normally when you sleep w/ your mouth open it makes it go way DOWN. Maybe you need to start using FF to chart since this site is now so jacked up?As for whoever asked about how to unjumble the posts, I think if you click on the "more info about formatting options" above the preview button, it will tell you that if you add a couple of blank lines in between your individual paragraphs (minus the first space I added), it will skip down a line. This is the first time I'm trying it so we'll see if it works...

Crystal~ TAke the Ibuprofen!! I did an SHG first without meds and it was quite painful! I learned from my mistake and when I had the HSG I took 4 ibuprofen about 45 minutes before. It was a piece of cake. I didn't have any residual cramping afterwards either. Good luck!

Mel - how are you liking that show? DH and I loved the first few episodes, but then it seemed that everytime we would watch it, it was just a big orgy fest :) too funny. either way, what else are you going to watch on Sunday nights? I think ti starts up again soon, so we'll be back into it. I think besides The Office this is the only show I try and actually watch. sorry about the temp drop - I slept like crap too, but I had bad allergies going on. I ended up sleeping with my mouth open - anyone know what that does to temps? Nice long LP you've got cookin' there :) Mack - I had to reset my password too. So frustrating! How are you feeling mama? I saw your bump on the other board a few days ago. You are one gorgeous preggo! God, I wish I had looked like that when I was pregnant :) Crystal - I had an HSG too. Actually got my bfp the same month that I did the HSG. Definitely take the ibuprofin. it wasn't bad for me, but some women have had a lot of cramping and pain afterward.
