Hi Ladies,I recently started charting my temperature, Doctors orders. Im quite confused, its been 3 months now and im finding it difficult reading my BBT chart. I can feel when im ovulating, i get cramps and some mild pain in either side of my ovaries and OPK says positive. Does that mean that im about to ovulate so i have time to still BD? or does that mean im too late when i OPK and Pain starts to occur? Sometimes my temperature rises or drops during ovulation.I posted my link to my chart. There is 3 months on there. This month is our 3rd month and i should be any day from Ovualtion occurring. I'm new to charting so still learning.
I had a temperature rise on CD13...what does that mean? My calendar prediction is ovulation arnd day 18/19 since im on a 31 day cycle.My OPK stil showing negative.

I am new to this site and to charting and checking my cervix. I need some help here kinda confused about cervix today.....I am 27 years old. We arn't exactly trying so using this method to try to prevent. I am on cd 21. Ov on cd15. Did have unprotected sex. Cervix has been high and soft for about 4-5 days. Confused because I thought that cervix gets hard and lowers. Yesterday was the highest I have ever felt it. Barely could touch it. Should I wait to see if pregnancy signs come. Keep on charting to get to know my cervix and charting. Also temp on od was 98. Dropped quite significantly and now is going back up. Please I need some advice!!

I wish i could comment on your chart confidently but this is my 1st month of TTC and am getting used to looking at other peoples charts so i can understand my own, but at a wild guess it looks like CD14 was the day. did you think the same with your chart? this is all nerve racking stuff for me as i so desparately want to get pregnant but am so nervous about when the time comes, i'm hoping i'll get lots of support from others and hopefully i'll be able to give back.

Hey all, I am Baaaaaack!!!!!
I am truely sorry for the vanishing act I pulled, but one of my best friends 4yo daughter has a brain tumor and I have been tryin to be there for her and her family. Not to mention dh and I finally decided to make things offical, we went to Las Vegas to finally said "I DO" even though we have been living as man and wife for 15 years .... lol So now we are back to ttc.... and where else would I go but here on bm to the wonderful support network.
Congrats to all the BFP's out there, Glad to see things are working out for you. And to the BGN's don't worry things will work out for you, and the stork will be around soon.
I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Hello ladies. I am wondering if my fertile period can start 1 day after my AF ended. Seems a little close but I guess that could be right. I guess I will be BD'ing my butt off for the next 5 to 6 days just to be on the safe side. I ordered HPT and ovulation test kits but have not gotten them yet. I don't think I am to good at charting since I hit the floor running in the moring with my schedule. I sometimes forget and by the time I think about it I am already out of bed. Anyways.....any input will be greatly appreciated. I really love this site and forum!!!!! U guys are great in providing info that I can use.

Melanie thanks so much for the input! I try so hard to do it the same time everyday. i'm able to stay in bed and not get up, but sometimes my husband gets up before me and it wakes me. Hopefully it will show some consistancy...go figure I was always a 28 day cycle and since we've decided to try i've been off the past few months.

Lindsey - it's really hard to tell when/if you ovulated, but I'd say if your temp stays up for the next few days, that you may have ovulated on day 22. It's important that when you're temping and charting, you try to do it as close to the same time each day, and temp before you get out of bed, even to pee, or do anything else. Good luck!

hi carymsu, seems u ovulated..whats the clomid dosage u took?
Any input on this chart would be great. I feel like I for sure ovulated on Wednesday , June 24th. I had the positive OPK and was crampy all day. However, as you can see my temp only raised .1 and has remained like that for 3 days.

hi everyone...
i'm new here but have been charting for contraceptive purposes since coming off the nuvaring in january. nothing remarkable has occurred since then... until now. i'm on day 34 of my cycle with no temperature shift. T_T i've always had "scanty" periods, and i was so excited after having 3 periods right on time and without hormones (for the first time, ever, at age 24). EWCM has been patchy this cycle, and my cervix has been open for about 2 weeks now. my graph says that i ovulated on day 18 and that i should've expected my period on day 32. this is wrong right??

sorry to say that i got my BFN today. i will have my blood test tomorrow to confirm and then go off the progesterone so AF can come. the on to next cycle!!!

Damn babymed, I just typed all of my reply and it booted me.
Brandie ~ I bought my speculum at http://www.fwhc.org/sale3.htm for $10. It came with the speculum and a little tube of ID Glide (that stuff is amazing, used it a long time ago). I can't check my cervix position with it cause it pushes the cervix upwards so I just check the position before inserting the spec. I use it so I can see if my cervical os is open during my fertile time or not since I had a hard time trying to figure it out with just my fingers. I'm sure you can reuse the disposable one plenty of times, just wash it with warm water and fragrance free soap after wach use. Mine is plastic too but can be reused till I get tired of messing with it. There is a website you can go to (that I find pretty interesting), it's www.beautifulcervix.com
My temp is going back up and still no sign of AF, just a lot of creamy cm. Should I start to get excited now since I am 2 days late?

Wow a speculum you are dedicated girl. Where does one buy a speculum? Im an RN and I saw some disposable plasic ones hanging around our clean utility closet. HMMMMM maybe I should take one. Do you use it to check your cervical position?
