Does Stress Delay My Period?

Q: Does stress delay my period?

A: Stress in and by itself does not delay one's menstrual period but it can delay ovulation. Once ovulation has occurred, your day of menstruation is pretermined about 12-16 days later. Unless you are pregnant and you have ovulated your period is unlikely to get delayed because of stress.
