Q: Why do I have EWCM only until two days before ovulation?

A: EWCM is usually observed during several days leading up to the day of ovulation and on the day of ovulation. It's possible that your mucus is "out of sync" with ovulation, though this happens very rarely. A special test done in the doctor's office called 'postcoital test'  on the day of ovulation can confirm or dismiss your findings.
