As the fetus grows so does the belly causing an “innie” belly-button to usually become an “outie.” This change can cause pain or tenderness for some. Pubic hair also tends to become darker and linea nigra appears. Baby movements are easy to feel inside the belly now as the space inside the womb is getting tighter.

Tips for this week

Multiple pregnancies typically end two weeks before single pregnancies. If you're expecting twins or more, you might want to start birthing classes and other childbirth lessons early, just in case bed rest is required. From the 20th week until birth, moms of multiples often have a harder time than moms who are carrying one baby.
