Dr. Amos Grunebaum is an obstetrician and gynecologist as well as a specialist in high-risk pregnancies (maternal-fetal medicine) with over 30 years experience in his field. Dr.Grunebaum is the author and co-author of more than 25 peer-reviewed, scientific articles, abstracts, and book chapters, and he has co-authored Dr. Ruth's Pregnancy Guide for Couples (Routledge Press, 1999). Through his active private ObGyn practice Dr.Grunebaum has delivered more than 3,000 babies and has supervised more than 10,000 deliveries.

Dr. Amos has worked on the internet since it's early days. Over the years, he has helped tens of thousands of couples around the world achieve their dream of getting pregnant by increasing their chance of conception through his online fertility tools and education. He has answered on the internet over 100,000 questions abour wide-ranging issues, and he has become one of the leading web authorities on fertility and pregnancy.

In his work, he has created several highly successful pregnancy and fertility sites in the U.S and Europe. Dr.Amos created BabyMed.com to improve women's and men's knowledge about pregnancy and fertility. Over the last decades Dr. Amos has worked on several web sites including INCIID, OnHealth, 9Monate, Qualimedic, and WebMD. Most recently he was the director of the WebMD Fertility Center. He created a German pregnancy and fertility web site (www.9Monate.de), which is currently the most popular European web site on health, fertility, and pregnancy. In the U.S., he created and launched BabyMed.com in 2001, which quickly became one of the most popular international fertility and pregnancy sites with many interactive pregnancy and fertility tools.

Dr.Grunebaum is presently an Associate Professor of Clinical Obstetrics & Gynecology at the leading Medical College in New York City, and he is the Director of Obstetrics and Chief of Labor&Delivery at a major New York Medical Center.

In addition to being a practicing obstetrician with more than 30 years experience, Dr. Amos Grunebaum is also a seasoned media personality. Over the years, he has appeared on news programs and on public television, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, and the Charlie Rose show. Most recently, Dr.Grunebaum talked on CNN about Stress and Pregnancy.
He has appeared and he has been quoted in magazines such as Cosmopolitan and was Marisa Tomei's obstetrician in the Ron Howard movie, The Paper. As the co-author of "Dr.Ruth's Pregnancy Guide for Couples: Love, Sex, and Medical Facts."(Routledge Press, 1999), he also participated in a nationwide radio and bookstore publicity campaign.
