Ob-Gyn and Infertility Specialist
Dr. Jovana Lekovich is a board-certified Ob-Gyn, reproductive endocrinologist, and infertility specialist at Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York. She is the Director of Mount Sinai's Oncofertility Program at Blavatnik Family-Chelsea Medical Center, and assistant clinical professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is also a medical director of the RMA-NY’s Brooklyn Office.
Broad Knowledge of Infertility Procedures
Dr. Lekovich specializes in treating all aspects of reproductive medicine and infertility, including conditions such as amenorrhea, polycystic ovary syndrome, ovulatory dysfunction, endometriosis and diminished ovarian reserve with ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination, in vitro fertilization, intracytoplasmic sperm injection and preimplantation genetic testing of embryos. She also treats a variety of surgical conditions including uterine factor infertility, using minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.
Distinguished Medical Education
Dr. Lekovich graduated Cum Laude from the University of Belgrade School of Medicine, where she received her medical degree and earned the Art and Science Development Scholarship, awarded to the 150 best performing graduate students in the nation. She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center and continued her training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Cornell University Fellowship Program at the Ronald O. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine.

Dr. Lekovich has received numerous recognitions for her clinical, surgical and research excellence, including New York Times Magazine’s Super Doctors® Award, Award for Excellence in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery (by American Urogynecologic Society), Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Award (by American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists) and Outstanding Research Paper Award (by New York Obstetrical Society).
A national and international speaker, Dr. Lekovich has spoken on various infertility-related topics and has authored and contributed to over 50 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and abstracts. She serves on the editorial board of Andrology and Gynecology Reports and Epigenetic Diagnosis and Therapy, and is an Ad Hoc Reviewer for Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics, Reproductive Biology and Endocrinology and annual scientific meetings of AAGL and ASRM.
