Your belly continues to grow and is now about the size of a soccer ball. While friends think your growing pregnancy belly is cute, you may feel a bit different. The pressure on ligaments, lower back muscles, and joints can create pain and discomfort on a regular basis. Going through each day with aches and pains is taxing, so try to prevent it before it occurs. Taking warm baths, finding a few minutes to put your feet up in the afternoon and resting whenever you can help to ease some of the pain.

As your pregnancy grows closer to the third trimester, you should start thinking about how long you will work outside the home until going on maternity leave. It's a good time to check out your options at your particular company. Some companies allow pregnant employees to work from home while others pay workers during maternity leave.
