Maggie Gyllenhaal, 33, and husband Peter Sarsgaard, 40, are expecting their second child, according to Life & Style magazine. Unconfirmed reports claim that Maggie is already six months pregnant and very excited with the soon-to-be addition to the family. She reportedly revealed her pregnancy to several friends over Thanksgiving weekend, after rumors began during the promotion of her new film, Hysteria, because of Maggie’s loose-fitting dress choices. The couple is already parents to Ramona, age 5.

Both actors, who reside in Brooklyn, New York, are known for their against-the-grain film choices and low-key celebrity profile. Maggie is sister to Hollywood heartthrob, Jake Gyllenhaal, a paparazzi favorite.

The couple has been together since 2002 and married in a romantic Italian ceremony in 2009, three years after the birth of their daughter. Back when their wedding was announced, Maggie was quoted saying that the couple anticipated having two children: “People say two [kids] is so hard, but I think we probably will.”

Maggie has also commented on the difficulties of motherhood, especially when it comes to balancing work and childcare: “I had been so focused on Ramona – and she’s been everything to me – but I’m also an actress. It’s not possible to do it perfectly,” she said. "Being a mom is so present in my mind and my work. It's the most important thing about me, but next I'd like to play someone who's not a mother."

We agree that motherhood is not easy, but we’re sure Maggie is up to the task…again! Congratulations Maggie, Peter, and Ramona!
