What are the early physical signs

• Nausea
  
• Breast tenderness,
  
• Fatigue
  
• Urinary frequency

 Other physical signs which usually do not show up until well after the pregnancy test is positive include:

• Blue discoloration of the cervix and vagina (Chadwick's sign)
  
• Softening of the cervix (Goodell's sign)
  
• Softening of the uterus (Ladin's sign and Hegar's sign)
  
• Increased pigmentation of the abdomen (linea nigra) or the nipples
