A: Women with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis have a slightly higher-than-normal risk of miscarriage, even if under treatment and with a normal TSH. The reason is unknown. For women with successfully treated hyperthyroidism, the risk of miscarriage is practically the same as for a woman without a thyroid problem.
