A: A progesterone level above 10 ng/ml about 7-10 days after ovulation usually means that you ovulated. Nothing else. You cannot diagnose a pregnancy from an elevated progesterone level and an elevated progesterone level is not necessarily related to pregnancy or conception. If you want to diagnose a pregnancy, you need to have a positive blood or urine hCG test.
