America's sweetheart, Drew Barrymore, has given birth to her first child! Drew, 37, and husband Will Kopelman, welcomed baby girl Olive on September 26, 2012.
A representative of the couple recently revealed the news to Life&Style with the following statement: "We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, born September 26th, healthy, happy and welcomed by the whole family."
Barrymore comes from a family of Hollywood legends and became a household name at the age of 7 for her performance in E.T. the Extra Terrestrial. Barrymore also famously struggled with alcohol and drug addiction before reaching the age of 12, and at 14 began writing her autobiography, Little Girl Lost. She became legally emancipated from her mother at age 15.
Barrymore's story, however, has a happy ending. The eternally cheery actress has been through hell and is now thriving on the other side. She is the co-founder of a successful production company called Flower Films, and has maintained a flourishing acting career. After two divorces she appears to have found her mate.
