Kristin Cavallari, 25, is expecting! The reality TV star who first found fame as a teenager on the MTV series, Laguna Beach, announced to PEOPLE that she is pregnant with her first child. The father is Kristin’s fiancée Jay Cutler, 28, quarterback for the Chicago Bears.
The couple, who famously broke off their engagement in July 2011 (shortly after their engagement party) and reunited in November, is thrilled with the news. In an exclusive announcement to PEOPLE the couple stated: “We are thrilled to announce that we are expecting our first child together. It’s an amazing time in our life and we can’t wait to meet the new addition to our growing family.”
When asked about their brief hiatus, the former Dancing with the Stars contestant stated: "Sometimes, in order for things to get better, they have to end – even if it's momentarily." Looks like Kristin was right...
