Can a Labor Induction Be Done At Home?

Q: Is it harmful to induce labor at home?

A: A labor induction is usually defined as a process to soften and open the cervix and get a pregnant woman into labor. Inducing labor at home is not a good idea because the contractions that are induced may be harmful to the fetus.
