One of the hottest actors in Hollywood, with starring roles in Magic Mike and White House down, took to the internet to announce the birth of his daughter, Everly Tatum. The baby girl was born in London where the actor is currently filming his next movie, Jupiter Ascending. Tatum is married to fellow actor Jenna Dewan. According to sources, mother and baby are doing well.
Tatum met his wife on the set of Step Up, the movie that introduced the world to the man who would eventually be voted the sexiest man alive. Dewan played his leading lady and three years after meeting, the couple married in July of 2009. The couple's first pregnancy announcement was made in December, just a few months into the pregnancy.
On the day baby Everly was born, the couple was photographed walking their dogs through the streets of North London where the couple rents a flat in one of the most exclusive buildings in the city.
While in London, Dewan has been attending yoga and childbirth classes in an attempt to get ready for the birth. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Tatum admitted the baby would be born in London, so birthing in the UK was a planned event.
For the ladies out there who want to know just how awesome Channing Tatum is as a father, Dewan told interviewers that he takes the path of least resistance and total support, telling his wife to eat what she wanted when pregnant. According to Jenna, Channing said, “I’m going to leave it up to you.”
The couple has not spoken about how many children they would like to have. For now, the couple is focusing on their newest leading character with an amazingly realistic mindset. When talking to Ryan Seacrest, Tatum admitted, “We’re going to actually have the baby in London while I’m shooting, and then there will be no downtime whatsoever after that.”
Channing and Jenna announced the birth of baby Everly on June 4th, 2013, though she was actually born on May 31st. No further details have been announced.
