January Jones, affectionately known as Betty Draper for her critically acclaimed role in the AMC series, “Mad Men,” is the latest A-lister to jump on the prenatal yoga bandwagon. The 33-year-old actress, who recently announced her pregnancy in April, was spotted arriving at a prenatal yoga class in Los Angeles, wearing stretch leggings and carrying a pink yoga mat.

Praised for its benefits, prenatal yoga is an ideal form of exercise for pregnant women. It provides strengthening and toning as well as stretching and relaxation for its practitioners. Breathing exercises practiced in class can also help women get ready for the big day. Stars like Gwyneth Paltrow, Ali Larter, and Alyssa Milano, amongst many others, are all known for relying on prenatal yoga to keep them in top shape during pregnancy.

Jones, who also stars as Emma Frost in this summer’s X-Men: First Class, has yet to disclose the identity of her baby’s father. Despite media speculation that the father is former love interest Jason Sudeikis or X-Men director, Matthew Vaughn (husband of Claudia Schiffer, the actress has to confirm or deny any of the rumors. According to People magazine, quoting a source close to the actress, “She’s really looking forward to this new chapter of her life as a single mom.” The baby is due sometime in the fall.

Congratulations January and we salute you for taking such good care of yourself during your pregnancy!
