Q: What are the values of a fertile and infertile sperm count?
A: A study published in 2001 in The New England Journal of Medicine categorized the results of the sperm count into three groups: Fertile, Indeterminate, and Subfertile.
Fertile: Concentration more than 48.0 million per milliliter, greater than 63% motility, greater than 12% normal morphology.
Indeterminate: Concentration between 13.5 and 48.0 million per milliliter, 32-63% motility, 9-12% normal morphology.
