Q: Does clomiphene increase cancer risk?

A: Since we started to use clomiphene, no significant increase in ovarian cancer rates have been reported. However, one study published in 1993 implicated clomiphene use for greater than 12 months in a possible increase in cancer risk. For these reasons, clomiphene should be used for a relatively short time only.
