A: A pregnancy usually begins when a sperm fertilizes an egg (fertilization), and the egg subsequently implants in the uterus (conception or implantation).

According to this calculation, you seem to become pregnant 2-3 weeks before you actually conceive but in truth your pregnancy does not begin until implantation and a posirive pregnancy test.

Some Signs and Symptoms of Pregnancy:

  • Nausea, with or without vomiting
  • Fatigue
  • Breast changes and breast tenderness
  • Frequent urination
