It's a baby boy for Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy! According to her rep and PEOPLE, the Homeland star gave birth to her first child on December 17. The first child of Claire, 33, and Hugh, 37, was named Cyrus Michael Christopher Dancy.

The child's birth came just a day after the gut-wrenching season finale of Homeland on Sunday evening, a show for which Danes won an Emmy in September.

Danes and Dancy met on the set of their film Evening, and wed in a quiet ceremony in France in 2009. Mamie Gummer, Meryl Streep's daughter and Danes' co-star and friend told PEOPLE: "I was there when it was happening and it's something that I will never forget. I am incredibly happy for them. They are perfect for each other."
