Macklemore is back with a new track and some very exciting news. On May 29th, 2015, he and his wife Tricia welcomed their daughter Sloane Ava Simone Haggerty into the world. The new single, is for her.
You may have been wondering where Macklemore (Ben Haggerty) has been since providing the soundtrack for 34 couples (many of them same-sex) to get married at the 2014 Grammys, and taking home four awards himself. To share his story Macklemore took to his website and social media this morning with the release of the new song and a love note for his daughter. We're glad he's back, and absolutely love this tribute to the "love of his life."
