R&B singer and songwriter Ne-Yo said hello to a bouncing baby girl a few months early.
According to reports, girlfriend Monyetta Shaw was due to give birth to their baby girl in January, but premature labor started and doctors could not stop the birth. The couple named the baby girl Madilyn Grace Smith and everyone is healthy and strong.
On the topic of love and fatherhood, Ne-Yo claims he has never felt emotion like this. After falling in love several times in life, there is nothing comparable to the love a father feels for a child. There is no mention of the reason for the premature delivery or if the couple plans on having more children in the future. Looks like the Ne-Yo baby wanted to be around for the release of dad’s new album, Libra Scale which is due to hit stores on November 22, 2010.
