One of the biggest trends to hit the streets this year was the beanie hat. The beanie allows you to stay warm while looking cool and playful. This chic oversized hat was one of my favorite winter trends this year and is a trend that will definitely remain through next fall.

I have been stealing my husbands Jets beanie ever since the cold winter started. It is the first piece I grab when temperatures fall. It is a challenge to keep your hair looking good during the cold weather months. The beanie is a playful way to stay warm and cover your messy morning, or static-ridden winter hair while looking cool and grungy.

This slouchy hat is a great way to incorporate the grunge look into your wardrobe. The 90s grunge style is back and is one of the hottest looks out there right now. Think flannel shirts, baggy boyfriend jeans and leather jackets, and of course the beanie hat.

The beanie comes in so many different styles and variety. There's the neon beanie for days when you feel like brightening up a cold winter day, the pom-pom beanie for those days when you wanna look like you’re hitting the slopes. Then there's the classic black beanie that just looks cool and casual. These beanies help make braving the cold winter months that much easier and enjoyable.

Wear your cozy beanie with a puffy jacket and snow boots to keep extra warm on snowy days. Yes the beanie is practical but it has become more than just a way to stay warm, the beanie has become a fashion statement that is both comfortable and edgy. Take your beanie into the spring with a t-shirt and jeans for a cool and casual downtown look. This look requires no thought at all, it takes your everyday jeans and a t-shirt look and gives it an element of style. The beanie looks just as chic inside as it does in the cold, so don’t feel foolish if you decide to sit down to lunch and keep that beanie on.
