Q: I have heard people use the expression "eating for two" with regards to eating during pregnancy. Do I really have to eat that much?

A: You don't have to eat twice as much now that you are pregnant. Your appetite may increase significantly during pregnancy, but your actual caloric needs are only slightly increased.  Be sensible about your food intake, eat a well balanced diet and add about 300 Cal to your daily diet. That's about one additional yogurt or bagel a day.
