Alec and Hilaria Baldwin

Big congrats to Hilaria and Alec Baldwin who announced this weekend on Instagram in a truly adorable video that they are expecting a baby girl. Earlier that day, Hilaria used the babyMed Gender Predictor Test which correctly predicted a little sister on the way for her four children, who shared in the gender reveal. Officially, Hilaria had a cell-free DNA test performed to confirm the gender, (which typically takes place between 10-12 weeks). Want to find out if you’re having a boy or girl right now? Do what Hilaria did and take our test!

For Hilaria, 35, and husband Alec, 61, this is baby number five. The couple already have three sons and a daughter: Romeo Alejandro David, Leonardo Angel Charles, Rafael Thomas, and Carmen Gabriela, respectively. We’re sure Carmen is thrilled to have a sister coming her way!

The entire Baldwin clan helped reveal the baby's gender to the world. Hilaria captioned her reveal video, “Our little reveal. We are so excited!”. Viewers can watch as the children excitedly unwrap blanketed baby dolls to uncover pink outfits.

Earlier this year, Hilaria suffered a miscarriage. In April, she turned to Instagram to share this intimate news, captioning a photo of her family, “There was no heartbeat today at my scan...so it’s over...but I have some pretty strong and amazing heartbeats right here. I am surrounded by such love and I feel so fortunate. Thank you all for listening, for your support, and for sharing your own personal stories. We are stronger together...I hope this conversation continues to grow and that we stick together through both the beautiful and challenging moments in life. Much love and appreciation to all of you”.

When announcing her current pregnancy in September, she notes, “It is still very early … but we have learned that there is a little person inside of me”.

She went on to add, “We want to share this news as we are excited and don’t want to hide the pregnancy. These first few months are tough with exhaustion and nausea and I don’t want to have to pretend that I feel ok”.

The mother of four is right, pregnancy IS exhausting, but we respect her being so open about her journey and experience, both with successful pregnancy and miscarriage. Her voice is heard and appreciated by many.

Congrats again to the growing Baldwin family!
